Short version: Mennään has no accounts and no tracking. What you do in the app stays on your phone.

On your phone

Your answers, saved and usual places, tickets, ratings, photos and notes are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Sent to our server

To deal a hand, the app sends a request with your rough location, your answers and the ids of places you've recently visited or rated. This is used only to pick recommendations. It isn't tied to a name, email or account, and isn't sold or shared.

Location

The app asks for location to find things nearby. Only a coarse location is used, and you can deny the permission and still use the app.

Third parties

Place and event data comes from public sources (City of Espoo, City of Helsinki, HSY, OpenStreetMap). The app does not include ad or analytics SDKs.
